Broad sidewalks along the Canal St Martin in the 10th Arrondissement are popular walks for residents from the surrounding neighborhoods. The best section runs from Rue du Faubourg du Temple, two blocks east of Place de la République, north to Rue Louis Blanc, just south of Place de la Bataille de Stalingrad.
